Pineapple for the children of Ndeeba!

One of the things we have been working towards is to ensure that all full day children receive a lunch meal, which last year was impossible due to lack of funds.  Since having some great support from our Teacher Sponsorship Scheme we have secured enough money now to give the children this much needed food of maize flour & beans.  However fruit is something they do not have very often. 

Stuart, one of our sponsors kindly asked me to give the children a treat of pineapple one day, which was a military operation getting 100 pineapples & getting them all chopped up! The children were so excited like you can't imagine & their faces were full of smiles!
